Can a fixed assets category be added?

Yes. Categories such as laptop, vehicle, phone, office equipment, printer or machine can be defined in the system. To create a category, a new title is added from the "Category Management" screen. This structure facilitates reporting and filtering processes. For example, it is possible to list only IT equipment or only vehicles. Correct categorization makes inventory management more organized and controllable.

Is it possible to search by serial number?

Serial number or barcode information can be entered for each asset. When this number is typed into the search bar, the system instantly finds the relevant product. This feature provides great convenience, especially for technical teams. For example, the serial number of a faulty device can be accessed quickly. Time loss is prevented and the operation is accelerated.

Is it possible to edit assets?

Yes. Information can be updated by selecting the relevant product in the inventory list and using the "Edit" option. Brand, model, location or responsible person may be changed. Thanks to this flexibility, products that are transported or changed hands are updated instantly. Thus, inventory records always remain up to date.

Is there bulk upload?

The system has a bulk data upload feature with Excel. A large number of products do not have to be entered one by one. Product information is written into the prepared Excel template and uploaded to the system. All records are added automatically. It saves a lot of time, especially during the initial installation phase.

Is there filtering by location?

Location can be assigned to each entity. For example, Ankara office, Istanbul branch or warehouse. By selecting the location from the filtering area, all fixtures at that point can be listed. In this way, it is clearly visible which equipment is located in which branch. Provides critical control for multi-location companies.

Can the lost item be marked?

Yes. Using the asset status field, the product can be marked as “Active”, “Lost”, “Faulty”, “Under Maintenance” or “Scrap”. This status update is also reflected in the reports. Thus, usable equipment and problematic equipment are easily separated. Tracking of lost or damaged products becomes systematic.

Is an inventory report available?

A detailed list of all assets can be obtained from the reports section in the inventory module. Reports can be downloaded in Excel or PDF format. These outputs can be used in counting, auditing or accounting processes. Provides bulk inventory visibility for management.

Is asset history kept?

Movement history is recorded for each product. The person to whom it is credited and the date on which it changed location or underwent maintenance are logged in the system. Thanks to these history records, retrospective tracking can be done. Audit and responsibility tracking becomes easier.

Yes. Photos can be uploaded to the product registration. Adding images specifically prevents mixing of similar models. Technical teams can recognize the product from the system without physically seeing it. This increases operational accuracy.

Can a responsible person be appointed?

Each asset can be debited to a personnel. This way, it is clearly tracked who owns the equipment. When debit assignment is made, the product appears on the relevant employee. Delivery or return transactions are also recorded through the system. This method avoids loss and liability confusion.

Is warehouse tracking done?

The warehouse or stock area where the products are located can be seen in the system. Stock distribution can be analyzed with warehouse-based filtering. This feature is especially useful for warehouse management and inventory control.

Can the maintenance date be added?

Maintenance or service dates can be entered for devices. The next maintenance date can be defined as a reminder. In this way, equipment requiring regular maintenance is checked in a timely manner. Malfunction risks are reduced and product life is extended.

Is archiving possible?

Retired or scrapped products are not deleted. Instead, it is deactivated or archived. This method prevents data loss and ensures preservation of historical records. Old records can be viewed again if necessary.

How to add an inventory record?

To add a new asset or equipment, go to the "Inventory" module and use the "Add New Asset" option. In the opened form, product name, brand, model, serial number, category, location and purchasing information are entered. If desired, the price of the product, warranty period and explanation notes can also be added. After the save process, the system automatically creates a new record in the inventory and appears in the asset list. Thanks to this method, all equipment within the company is recorded digitally and the need to keep a manual list is eliminated.
